Privacy Policy

Last updated April 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GLP Coaching (“GLP Coaching,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit glpcoaching.com, take our free online GLP Type assessment, or enroll in one of our paid personalized coaching plans.

We believe privacy deserves plain language. This page covers what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@glpcoaching.com.

Who we are and what this policy covers

GLP Coaching offers a free online assessment that identifies your “GLP Type” for people using or considering GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound, along with paid personalized coaching plans built around that result. This policy applies to the website, the assessment, the coaching service, and any related communications we send you.

It does not cover third-party websites or services we link to, and it does not cover your relationship with your own medical providers. Your use of our services is also subject to our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy.

What we mean by personal information

Personal information is any information that identifies you or from which your identity could reasonably be deduced. That includes obvious identifiers like your name and email, and less obvious ones like device identifiers or health-related responses you give inside the assessment.

Information we collect

We only collect information that helps us run the assessment, deliver coaching, operate the website, or meet a legal obligation. Specifically, we collect the following categories:

Information you give us directly

  • Account and contact details: name, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you create an account, take the assessment, or contact support.
  • Assessment responses: answers you provide in the GLP Type assessment, including information about your goals, current or planned use of GLP-1 medications, general health context, lifestyle, and eating patterns.
  • Coaching plan information: for paid plans, we may collect additional details such as weight, height, age, dietary preferences, activity level, and progress updates you choose to share with your coach.
  • Payment information: when you purchase a coaching plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We receive a token or confirmation of the charge; we do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, in-product chat, or support forms, including any attachments.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and connection data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, and approximate location derived from your IP.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, timestamps, and similar interaction data about how you use the site and assessment.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.

Sensitive information

Some assessment and coaching inputs describe your health (for example, whether you are currently using a GLP-1 medication, weight, or related conditions). Where required by law, we rely on your explicit consent to process this information, and we only use it for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time, though doing so may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver the assessment: score your responses, generate your GLP Type result, and show you the matching recommendation.
  • Provide coaching plans: set up your account, personalize your plan, enable communication with your coach, and track progress you choose to record.
  • Process payments: confirm purchases, manage subscriptions, issue refunds, and detect fraud.
  • Communicate with you:send transactional messages (receipts, account notices, reminders), respond to support requests, and, where permitted, send marketing emails about products and content we think you'll find useful.
  • Improve the service: analyze aggregated and de-identified usage to refine the assessment, the coaching experience, and the website.
  • Keep things secure: detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access, and enforce our Terms of Use.
  • Meet legal obligations: comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and defend legal claims.

Legal bases for processing

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to deliver the assessment result you requested, run your coaching plan, and handle payments and support.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and improve the service, understand usage, secure our systems, prevent fraud, and promote GLP Coaching in a balanced way that respects your rights.
  • Consent: for marketing emails where required, for certain cookies, and for processing health-related answers inside the assessment and coaching. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other laws that apply to us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it to third parties for their own marketing. We share information only in the limited situations below.

Service providers

We use vetted third-party providers to run the service. They process personal information on our behalf and only for purposes we authorize. Categories include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: cloud hosting, databases, and content delivery.
  • Payments: payment processors that handle card data on our behalf.
  • Email and messaging: transactional email, marketing email, and in-product messaging platforms.
  • Analytics: tools that help us understand how the site and assessment are used.
  • Customer support: ticketing and helpdesk software.

Your coach

If you enroll in a paid coaching plan, the coach assigned to you will have access to the information needed to deliver the plan, including your assessment result and any progress updates you share. Coaches are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your information to support your plan.

Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with a law, court order, or valid legal request; to enforce our Terms of Use; to protect the rights, property, or safety of GLP Coaching, our users, or others; or to investigate and prevent fraud or abuse.

Business transfers

If GLP Coaching is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this policy or notify you of any material changes.

Aggregated or de-identified data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for research, reporting, or marketing purposes.

International data transfers

GLP Coaching and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your home country. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information when it is transferred across borders.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or longer if the law requires it. In practice, that means:

  • Assessment responses: kept while your account is active so you can review your result, and for a reasonable period afterward for analytics and improvement in aggregated form.
  • Account and coaching data: kept for the duration of your plan and for a limited period after it ends, so we can handle support, disputes, and legal obligations.
  • Payment and transaction records: kept as long as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws.
  • Marketing preferences: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, plus a short suppression record so we can honor your opt-out.

When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restriction or objection: ask us to limit how we use your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: receive certain information in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
  • Opt out of marketing: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@glpcoaching.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Notice to California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you additional rights over your personal information. These include the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or shared; the right to request deletion; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would require a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link under California law. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide the appropriate controls.

To make a California rights request, email privacy@glpcoaching.com. You can use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of authorization and may still ask you to verify your identity.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and support marketing. Some are strictly necessary for the service to work; others are optional and only set with your consent where required.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our in-product cookie controls. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and the assessment is not designed for minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email privacy@glpcoaching.com and we will take steps to delete it.

How we protect your information

We use a combination of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and staff training. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Please note that email is not a fully secure medium. Consider that before sending us sensitive information by email, and use the secure forms inside your account when possible.

Third-party links

Our site and emails may link to third-party websites, tools, or resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before sharing personal information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we'll give you additional notice, for example by email or an in-product message. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
